March 16-17, 2012: Match weekend for 4th year med students, where they find out where they’re going for residency. It’s apparently a big deal. Josh’s parents drove in from Fort Worth.
So anyway, Friday was the whole ceremony where they pass out the match envelopes. Josh got into Washington University in St. Louis, MO for psychiatry. It was his first choice and he was really happy he got in there.
Saturday was senior banquet aka med school prom. It was held at the Crystal Ballroom in Downtown Houston. The food kinda sucked but the photo booth and the dancing made up for it. It was pretty fun.
The plan for me now is to try to get into CRNA school in St. Louis. I just have to finish some prereqs here first. O and get that ring ;)
